Nightingale is one of Europe’s leading providers of residential, nursing and dementia care for older members of the community. It
offers its residents a ‘home for life’ regardless of health or how much this may deteriorate. Nightingale is widely known for its excellent
range of facilities and its activities programme.
It has its own synagogue and Kosher cuisine, and excellent on-site medical services. Local Authority support falls significantly short of
the cost of maintaining Nightingale as an independent charity. It depends largely on the generosity of its friends for donations, grants
and bequests.
