It is a living, evolving faith that Jews of today and tomorrow can live by. The Movement for Reform Judaism, which represents 43 synagogues across the UK, aims to build dynamic, growing communities of faith and learning which live out the values of Reform Judaism. We want to reach out to people and respond to their needs; helping them to find meaning and purpose in their lives. Our support for RSY-Netzer (our Zionist Youth Movement) provides thousands of young people with a knowledge and love for our religion, history and culture. Nightingale is one of Europe's leading providers of residential, nursing and specialist dementia care for some 250 older members of the community. Residents are able to remain at the Home for the rest of their days no matter how their physical or mental health needs may change in the future. Nightingale is widely known for its excellent range of facilities, extensive activities and entertainments programme, Synagogue, Kosher cuisine, and in particular its on-site medical services which includes GPs, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dentists, audiologists and chiropodists, so that all residents can receive their treatment without leaving the building. Support from local authorities and other sources falls significantly short of the cost of maintaining Nightingale's high standards and makes no contribution towards the cost of capital building projects. As an independent charity it depends on the generosity of its friends through donations, grants, and bequests. For further information contact Leon Smith, Chief Executive.

Panic, anxiety, OCD, psychosis and mania can all come from post-natal depression. Untreated, they can lead to abuse/neglect of the children, divorce and even suicide. Nitza reaches out to hundreds of new mothers who are often in a state of hopeless despair, suffering in silence in their dark bedrooms, secluded from their families and the outside world. Our many volunteers provide moral and practical support. We pay for expensive specialist care and costly medications. Following our intervention, almost 95% of cases recover fully to continue raising their families in a normal, peaceful and happy atmosphere.
