GIFT

Founded in 2004, with hubs in London, Manchester, and Jerusalem, GIFTs mission is to inspire and enable lifelong giving. We strive to create a society where community engagement, kindness, compassion, and social responsibility are embedded in everyday life.
Through innovative educational programmes in schools, youth groups, and universities, GIFT teaches the joy and importance of giving. Our interactive and hands-on sessions encourage young people to make generosity a natural part of who they are. These values are further reinforced through GIFT’s wide range of practical volunteering initiatives, allowing participants to put learning into meaningful action.
Each year, thousands of volunteers dedicate tens of thousands of hours to supporting individuals and families in need. GIFT distributes hundreds of weekly food and care packages to disadvantaged households, provides tutoring and mentoring for children struggling in school, and offers emotional and practical support for those facing hardship. We also run innovative large-scale volunteering programmes such as Beyond the Label, The Green Closet, The Giving Kitchen, and GiveFest, each designed to engage volunteers creatively in acts of kindness.
Beyond direct aid, GIFT fosters a vibrant culture of giving through park clean-ups, holiday volunteering, family giving days, and youth leadership programmes that empower people of all ages to make a lasting difference.
Every act of giving, big or small, creates ripples of positive change.
Join us in building a world where giving is not just something we do, but part of who we are.

Jewish Volunteering Network (JVN)
44a Albert Road
London
NW4 2SJ
JVN exists to make volunteering simple, meaningful, and impactful, helping charities find the people they need, and helping individuals find their ideal way to give back. Since 2006, we have connected over 8,000 people to volunteering opportunities, supporting more than 470 charities by finding them skilled, committed volunteers.
Regular long-term, short-term, or one-off volunteering events: JVN offers year-round opportunities across the volunteering spectrum. Our central website hosts a dynamic search function which helps volunteers to find opportunities to match their skills, locations and interests. We continuously encourage volunteers to engage with cross-communal opportunities, finding common ground through meaningful causes.
JVN helps Jewish people connect with opportunities where they feel most comfortable and familiar. Our volunteers frequently tell us how they have been “renewed” emotionally and physically by their roles. We believe the benefits of volunteering should be accessible and meaningful for all, and our dedicated volunteer broker is available to assist those with additional needs in finding their perfect voluntary role.
We support 46 partner charities through training, brokerage, and strategic partnerships. Our stewardship strengthens the voluntary sector, building a more resilient community in the face of economic and social challenges.

The League of Jewish Women is a long established charity founded in 1943. Our aims are to give service to the communities we live in, and to give hands-on help where there is a need, irrespective of ethnic grouping, gender or religion. We provide volunteer help in many diverse places such as schools, prisons, hospices and day centres. We work with other organizations such as Macmillan nurses, Witness and Victim Support and Jewish Care. We are the UK affiliate of the International Council of Jewish Women and therefore have worldwide links and are also affiliated to other national women’s organizations.
