Maccabi GB, Britain’s leading Jewish Sports, Health and Wellbeing charity, focuses on three central areas of work: Sport, Community and Informal Education.
Maccabi GB’s Sports provision is for people of all ages and abilities. With a renewed focus on Grassroots Sports, Maccabi GB is creating clubs and national events in a variety of sports.
In the Community, Maccabi GB delivers the Yellow Candle project and the Maccabi GB Community Fun Run, which brings together over 85 Jewish Charities, for a day of sport, health & wellbeing and family fun.
Through its Streetwise and Stand Up! projects, Maccabi GB engages over 45,000 young people annually in Informal Education in primary and secondary schools nationwide.
Maccabi GB continues to deliver a range of international sporting events. We send a team annually to the JCC Maccabi Games in America and also larger delegations to the European Maccabi Games and the Pan-American Maccabi Games every four years. In between, and also every four years, we send over 450 athletes to Israel for the Maccabiah Games. The Jewish Olympics now plays host to over 10,000 Jewish athletes from 80 countries. We work with our affiliated clubs, sports leagues and the community by providing quality youth projects such as the Streetwise Leadership Programme and Stand Up! Education Against Discrimination.

Magen David Adom is Israel’s only national blood and medical emergency service. For nearly 75 years Magen David Adom UK has raised funds for medical equipment, ambulances, bloodmobiles and stations to benefit ALL Israel’s citizens – Arabs, Christians, Druze and Jews.
The organisation also collects and supplies 400,000 units of blood each year and is responsible for all Israel’s first aid and pre-hospital medical emergency training. As a member of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, MDA works internationally to share its support and expertise with those in need around the world, most recently in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake in Turkey.
MDA is a non-Governmental, not-for-profit organisation that depends on the generosity of supporters like you to save more lives.
