Oasis of Peace UK is one of the first UK charities to support grass-roots peace education in Israel. In the
tranquil surroundings of Neve Shalom / Wahat al-Salam (Israel’s unique community of Jewish and PalestinianArab
Israeli citizens), over 200 children attend the bilingual/binational Primary School, the majority from
surrounding towns and villages. For adults and teenagers, the School for Peace, internationally renowned as a
centre of encounter and discourse, runs courses that address the Israel-Palestine conflict from an enlightened
and fresh perspective. With well over 60,000 graduates, many lead Israel’s peace movement.
Through grants and individual donations, we are able to support this vital work.

For over a decade, Olim Beyahad has directed its programmes and partnerships to systematically improve the employment opportunities of outstanding Ethiopian Israeli university graduates and students, and to position them as leaders in Israeli Society. We equip our participants with practical, personal, and professional tools, and match them with personal mentors from among senior workforce figures.
We also provide exceptional Ethiopian youth with long-term personalized guidance and fellowships that advance them in their field of study. Our graduates are offered personal and professional advancement programmes, social engagement opportunities, and involvement in our strategic leadership. Whilst our participants realize their professional aspirations, we create permanent change in public perceptions – on the road to equal opportunities for all Israelis.

Since 1971, on a completely voluntary basis, the Committee has purchased medical equipment for many hospitals in Israel, including the Rambam Medical Centre in Haifa and the Western Galilee Hospital in Nahariya. Wonderful hospitals offering the very best in medical care and expertise.
Commemorative plaques can be affixed to equipment and dedication ceremonies arranged.
Why not celebrate that special simcha by asking friends and family to dedicate their gifts for the purchase of life-saving medical equipment and also to help the disabled to regain their mobility, confidence in their lives and self esteem?
Bequests truly welcomed and all donations appreciated and acknowledged.
